With our experience working with fabricators all over the US since 2009 we built this calculator to provide customers with an accurate range based on a few variables.

#1 Material.

In general for custom countertops this includes natural stone such as granite, marble, quartzite. Granite will have the lowest cost per square foot. Quartzite will have the highest cost per square foot. The main factor in this price difference is supply and demand.

#2 your preference

If price is your motivation this will limit color options and limit complexity of the project. If Quality is your focus then more complex design style and finish work opens the project up a quality implementation detail finishes.

#3 Size of the project

A small condo kitchen will typically be less than 1 slab where a large residential home with a large island, butterfly vein matching and full height back splash can be up to 5 slabs of material.

#4 Complexity of edging

the more labor required to finish the edging will increase the cost. Some edging can be "Free" or included in the price and some edging can add signifigant cost to the project. The number of finished cutouts for sinks stove tops or other detail works start to add to the cost of the project.

#4 Distance

If a project requires more than a 1 day install this also can add to the costs as transportation and labor costs associated with travel can add costs to the project.
